FMS In The News: SUN Bucks program provides food assistance to children in New Mexico. By Jacqlin Aragon, KOB. The New Mexico Education Department is making sure any student who needs help getting meals this summer aren’t left with no place to go. Eligible students can now apply for “SUN Bucks” with the launch of the USDA’s new summer nutrition SUN Programs. “We just really want to keep our kids nutritionally sound during the summer months while school is out. And when they come back in August, they’re ready to go,” said Marie Johnson, a student nutrition coordinator for FMS. Be a part of GenCyber! From coding to cryptography, be a part of GenCyber. Choose from one of two weeks: June 3-7, 2024, or June 17-21, 2024. These FREE camps are for students who have completed grades 6-11, with campers divided into two groups. Campers must be willing to commit to the 5-day camp and come to campus every day.
