We're truly grateful for our school principals and assistant principals. They work hard every day to help our students, teachers, and community. Thank you!

On Monday, April 15, 2024, our Elementary Math and English Language Arts (ELA) Teams had their final meeting of the year, where they celebrated their hard work and exchanged their top ideas. Throughout the year, these teams have been dedicated to improving teaching methods, focusing on better ways to keep track of students' progress and keep families informed about their learning journey. Now, they'll head back to their schools to kickstart a new phase, sharing insights from their colleagues and spreading their best practices within their school communities. A big thank you goes out to our educators and the Curriculum & Instruction Team for tackling this crucial mission.

FMS families and staff, you are invited to an Evening of Native American Stories and Music, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Piedra Vista High School's Turano Chrisman Theater. Please share! See you there!

We're excited to share that we've been offering yummy fruits and veggies in their natural state for our students and teachers to enjoy at Animas ES, Apache ES, Bluffview ES, Esperanza ES, McCormick ES, McKinley ES, and Northeast ES. Twice a week, these nutritious snacks are available in the mornings or afternoons through USDA’s Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP). The FFVP is a fun and effective way to introduce fresh fruits and veggies as healthy snack choices. This program encourages schools to team up locally and statewide to make it happen. It's a big help in fighting childhood obesity by teaching kids about healthier eating habits. We're thrilled to be part of this positive change!
