Welcome to Esperanza Elementary!

Esperanza Elementary proudly opened its doors and became a part of our Farmington community in 1995. We are a K-5 Title I school. Here at Esperanza we work hard to bring out the best in all of our students in order to rise to excellence in every pursuit.

Our Mission:

We provide a safe, learning environment where all students are encouraged to build character, be self-motivated, learn with curiosity, and grow through meaningful relationships, high expectations, and family engagement.

Our Vision:

Inspiring leaders by nurturing purpose, pride, and a passion for learning in every child.

Our Motto:

Cougars LEAD (Learn, Encourage, Achieve and Dream) the way to success!

Arrival/Dismissal
All elementary schools begin at 8:00 a.m and end at 2:35 p.m. Parents should not leave their children at the school earlier than 7:30 a.m. Parents should pick up their children no later than 2:45 p.m. At dismissal, parents picking up their students will drive to the pickup line no earlier than 2:30 p.m. Students riding the bus or going to daycare will be taken to the appropriate locations for dismissal.

Breakfast and Lunch
If you intend on having your child eat breakfast at school, please teach them at home that when they first arrive at school in the morning they are to proceed directly to the gym and get their breakfast before going to their classroom. Breakfast services cease when the first bell rings at 7:50 a.m. Students will receive a sack breakfast to eat breakfast in the classroom after the first bell rings.

Esperanza Elementary School has adopted the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). CEP is a universal program that provides breakfast and lunch at no charge.

If you would like to join your child for a meal an adult breakfast costs $2.25 and an adult lunch costs $3.50.
