Great news from Country Club Elementary! CCE raised close to $60,000 this past Friday, September 24, during their Ninja Warrior Challenge Fundraiser! CCE holds two fundraisers every year, the Fall Festival and the Ninja Warrior Challenge. For the latter, which has been a tradition for four years now, students collect pledges to run an obstacle course, and families are welcome to watch their children or compete against them (if they are brave enough!). The funds will be used to upgrade the playground, library, and teachers' classroom needs.
Principal Shannon Waller, Assistant Principal Jennifer Johns, and all of the CCE staff wish to express their sincerest gratitude to the families and community for such a generous outpouring of support. Kudos to the CCE PTA for going above and beyond to help organize the activities and arrange sponsors and support.
