Farmington Municipal Schools

Thank you, ahéhee’, gracias, Farmington, for your support in this week’s election.

You approved the FMS General Obligation Bond, allowing us to continue improving our school facilities without increasing taxes. Our priorities list is available for you to review, yet beyond any list, our commitment remains the same. We will continue caring for and enhancing our schools so that every student can learn and grow in welcoming spaces created for them.

Voters also reelected Ms. Andra Stradling, our current Board Secretary in District 2, and elected Mr. Deazhan Maize in District 1, who has served since his appointment in March of this year. In District 3, voters selected a new board member to fill the seat held by Board President Mr. Keith Corley, who did not run for reelection. The final results of that race will be confirmed soon, and we look forward to welcoming the new member to the Board and Farmington Municipal Schools.
