Today, we had a wonderful time celebrating the conclusion of Hispanic Heritage Month with our Esperanza community! Our students took the stage and shined, sharing their culture and pride through a series of beautiful performances.
The program featured lively and colorful numbers, including the rock en español classic “La Plaga,” the traditional Mexican folk dance “La Raspa,” the catchy Mexican polka “Jesusita en Chihuahua,” and the beloved song “La Carcacha.”
Each of our student performers came dressed in vibrant, festive attire and gave their very best to honor and celebrate their heritage. It was inspiring to see their confidence, joy, and pride in front of their families, classmates, and community.
A huge thank you to our amazing teachers and staff who made this event possible, especially Ms. Ezbayde Oñate-Martinez, our Spanish Bilingual Teacher, and Ms. Dora Garcia, our Spanish Bilingual EA, for their dedication, energy, and passion for keeping our cultural traditions alive.
And of course, thank you to all the families who joined us to celebrate. Your support helps make moments like these so special for our students.
¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana y gracias a todos por celebrar con nosotros!
