FMS, we want to celebrate the incredible achievement by one of our former students, Jacob Kuhn, who has been selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2025 MLB Draft!
Jacob, a 2022 graduate of Piedra Vista High School, got his start right here in our community. He was a talented middle infielder and pitcher during his time at PV. After high school, he continued his academic and athletic journey at Ottawa University in Kansas before transferring to Midland College in Texas, where he played for two years. His hard work and dedication paid off when he received an offer to play at Texas Tech University, and now, he’s headed to the big leagues!
Jacob also attended Ladera Elementary and Heights Middle School, making this a proud moment for the entire FMS family.
