About Dr. Chris Jones, Director of Support Services
Dr. Chris Jones, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Support Services for Farmington Municipal Schools, bringing over 11 years of experience in education. He supports district-wide services by developing inclusive strategies that improve student attendance, behavior, and school culture, enhancing outcomes for students and the school community. Dr. Jones holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from New Mexico State University, an alternative licensure in Elementary Education from San Juan College, a Master's in Educational Leadership from Eastern New Mexico University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Dakota. Since joining FMS in 2013, he has been dedicated to creating safe and inclusive learning environments. He previously served as Principal of Heights Middle School, championing student success and strengthening school-community partnerships.
