Be a part of GenCyber! From coding to cryptography, be a part of GenCyber. Choose from one of two weeks: June 3-7, 2024, or June 17-21, 2024. These FREE camps are for students who have completed grades 6-11, with campers divided into two groups. Campers must be willing to commit to the 5-day camp and come to campus every day. We want to share some exciting news with our FMS community. Ms. Marletta Newman, who has been teaching music at Mesa View Middle School for 22 years, has received a special honor. She has been inducted into the New Mexico Music Educators Association Hall of Fame! At FMS, we value music because it helps our students and staff be more creative, and music plays a significant role in our school community. In the picture, you can see that Ms. Newman (front and center) was recognized by the FMS Board of Education during their September meeting with Superintendent Cody Diehl. Daniel Fear, our Coordinator of Fine Arts, had the honor of presenting this well-deserved recognition to Ms. Newman. Congratulations once again to Ms. Newman for this fantastic achievement!
