Dear FMS Families and Staff, the FMS Board of Education approved the 2026-2027 Academic Calendar on February 10. We’re sharing this now so you can begin planning ahead for the upcoming school year. Please note that graduation dates for 2027 and other updates will be added at a later time. We will share the revised version with you as soon as those details are finalized.

This week, we celebrate them as a part of National School Counseling Week 2026. FMS school counselors help students in more ways than you may know. School counselors design and deliver school counseling programs that improve life-readiness and academic success. They lead, advocate, and collaborate to promote success for each and every student by connecting their school counseling program to the school’s academic mission and school improvement plan. Thank you, FMS School Counselors, for your dedication and the incredible support you provide to our students every day!

Christmas Break at Farmington Municipal Schools: FMS schools and offices will be closed from December 22, 2025, through January 2, 2026, for the Christmas Break. We wish all of our families, staff, and community a restful and enjoyable holiday. We look forward to seeing our staff on Monday, January 5, and our students on Tuesday, January 6.

December 18, 2025: FMS families, this event has been cancelled. We’ll notify you when the event is rescheduled.
