Join the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Foundation for a community session near you to help shape the future of education for New Mexico.
NMPED and LANL are leading statewide sessions — in collaboration with the Legislative Education Study Committee (LESC) and WestEd — to gather community input on New Mexico’s Action Plan in response to the Martinez/Yazzie lawsuit.
They’re inviting educators, parents, youth, advocates, and all community members to share their ideas about:
- Making learning meaningful and culturally relevant
- Supporting strong teachers and school services
- Ensuring fair and effective school funding
- Making sure schools and governments deliver on their promises
