A Thank You Letter from the Superintendent

Dear Farmington voters,

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the voters for your incredible support. Your vote is an investment in the future of the City of Farmington, and it means a lot to us.

Thanks to your support, FMS schools and facilities are set to receive some important upgrades in the coming years. These improvements include better heating and cooling systems, upgraded lighting, and enhanced security and technology. These changes are crucial in creating a modern and effective learning environment for all students. Ultimately, this benefits our city and local economy, ensuring a brighter future that reaches us all.

I also want to extend a warm welcome to our new Board of Education members, Krista Lee McWilliams and Lisa Lynn Maxwell, who will be representing Districts 4 and 5. I commend your decision to give back to our school communities. Thank you for now dedicating your talents to our Board of Education.

To departing board members Barbara Tedrow and Joan Vallee, we owe you a huge debt of gratitude for your outstanding service to the district. Your advocacy for improving the quality of education for our students has not gone unnoticed. The work you’ve done has been pivotal in creating the best learning environment for students, and we appreciate the countless hours you've dedicated.

Families, I can't thank you enough for being part of this journey, and I invite you to visit our schools and partner with us to strengthen our district. Stay involved, explore the exciting developments in our schools, and continue to have your voices heard.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Cody Diehl
