Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)

Animas Elementary, Apache Elementary, Bluffview Elementary, Esperanza Elementary, Farmington East & West Preschool Academies, McCormick Elementary, McKinley Elementary, Northeast Elementary, Mesa View Middle, Tibbetts Middle and Rocinante High School are participating in this provision SY2023-2024.

However all students effective first day of SY23/24 in the great state of NM that attend a school that operates a meal program as mandated by USDA and administered by NMPED SSWB under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), will receive a breakfast and a lunch meal every school day they are in attendance. This is due to the enactment of the 56th Legislature of NM passing SB4 - Healthy School Meals for All.

Studies have shown that children who are not hungry perform better in school. By providing breakfast/lunch to all children at no charge, we are hoping to create a better learning environment for our students. The School Breakfast and Lunch Programs cannot succeed without your support; please consider your children’s participation in the school meal programs.

The school breakfast and lunch that we serve follows U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for healthy school meals. The Healthy School Meals for All cannot succeed without your support; please encourage your children to participate in our school meal programs. All meals will be served to all students at no charge regardless of the eligibility status.
