Hello Graduating Seniors and Griffin Families,
Please see the following information regarding San Juan College High School’s graduation on Friday, May 16, 2025 at the San Juan College Learning Commons (Graduation Plaza).
Graduation Ceremony:
o Please visit our Facebook page and SJCHS website to view parking lot details for graduation day. Spectators and guests will park in parking lot B. We ask that families and guests arrive no earlier than 5:00 p.m., which will give families plenty of time to find seats and prepare for the ceremony.
o Graduates are asked to arrive at the staging area in the Student Sun Lounge by 4:45 p.m. on the evening of graduation.
o Our graduation ceremony will be live streamed by SJC Media Services on our Youtube channel. Please share the following link with those who would like to watch remotely https://youtube.com/live/qUf9LnpuAHI?feature=share
o Please note that there is no limit to guest invites and families are welcome to sit in available rows inside the graduation plaza as well as the grass seats. All views will have great access to the graduation ceremony.
o Restrooms will be available in the Public Safety building during graduation.
Graduation Rehearsal:
o A reminder that graduation practice for seniors will occur on Thursday, May 15th. Seniors are asked to attend their Senior breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and practice will begin in the Student Sun Lounge promptly at 9:00 a.m. Seniors can park in parking lot A or B on this day.
o All Senior Laptops and key cards will need to be turned in on the day of graduation practice (May 9th). Ensure that your laptop and charger are turned in together. The FMS tech department will be in the SJCHS lobby to collect laptops at 8:00 a.m. on May 15th.
o Students will not wear a graduation gown during practice.
o Please pay all outstanding fines and fees before graduation! Visit with Ms. Simpson in the front office for information on how to pay online.
o Ensure that you have purchased guest tickets to Griffin Grad Night if you are bringing a student outside of SJCHS.
