Welcome to Farmington Municipal School District's READY! program!

*READY! for Kindergarten through FMS is an online-only parent workshop. You can access your workshops on your own time, at your own pace, using the E-Learning platform!

Eligibility

Parents, guardians, or caregivers of children ages 0-5, who have not yet started kindergarten, and live within the boundaries of Farmington Municipal School District. Not sure if you live in the district? You can check here: https://app.guidek12.com/farmingtonms/school_search/current/

Data shows that students who start school ahead, stay ahead. Learn what you can do to nurture a child's development in their earliest years, preparing their minds for all future learning.

Our READY! workshops provide age-appropriate targets and training in the areas of language and literacy, math and reasoning, and social-emotional understanding. Purposeful play and 20 minutes of daily read-aloud make a difference that lasts a lifetime.

Please read the following information carefully before registering for your workshop(s):

Part 1(Fall), Part 2 (Winter), and Part 3(Spring) sessions each provide different tools and information that build the foundation to help get your child READY! for Kindergarten. We encourage parents to participate in all three courses. 

Registration for all three sessions opens on September 15th, 2025. You will automatically be registered for all three sessions. Reminders will be sent throughout the year when each session opens.

Part 1 (Fall) 25/26 - September 15, 2025 - November 30, 2025. You may complete your workshop any time between the beginning and end dates. 

Part 2 (Winter) 25/26 - January 1, 2026 -  January 31, 2026. You may complete your workshop any time between the beginning and end dates. 

Part 3 (Spring) 25/26 - March 1, 2026 - March 31, 2026. You may complete your workshop any time between the beginning and end dates. 

Dates for tool pick-up will be presented at the end of each age-level workshop, upon completion of the end-of-workshop survey. Tool pick-up will be at the FMS District Office, 3401 East 30th Street. 

How to sign up:

• Click the Register for a Workshop button below.

• Enter Key: Farmington

• Create an Account→ add your information, each child’s information, and their birthdates.

• From the home screen, select ‘Workshops’.

  • You will see all available workshops for each of your children. Keep in mind, Part 2 (Winter), and Part 3(Spring) will be visible, but unvailable until their open dates. 

• If you are a new READY! Family your will see an Orientation workshop. Please complete this before your first age-level workshop as it will explain the READY! Program.

• Each workshop should take approximately 1 hour to complete.
