FMS families, the district will be instating a Laptop Insurance Fee for the 2023-24 school year for students in grades 6-12. The insurance fee is $20 and removes the liability for qualifying repairs during the school year. Families have the option to decline this insurance coverage; however, if the coverage is declined, users will be liable for any and all repair costs incurred during the school year. Students will not be issued a laptop until a signed contract is returned indicating that the payment of the insurance fee has been paid or insurance coverage has been declined by the user.
Contracts will be sent home with students on the first day of class unless otherwise indicated by the school. They may also be downloaded and printed from here.
The $20 fee may be paid with cash or check at Central Office (3401 E. 30th Street). Online payments can be made at SchoolPay.com.
The due date for returning contracts and paying the fee will be set by the schools.
Laptops and Hotspots Reminder
Just a reminder, any laptops and/or hotspots from the last school year need to be returned immediately in order for them to be updated and ready for the new school year. Equipment can be returned to the school or the district administration office on 30th Street.
