Mr. Henegar

Dear Country Club Community,

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to you as the incoming Principal of Country Club Elementary School. It is truly an honor to become a part of the Country Club family and community. Country Club is a unique and special place, and I am incredibly excited to be joining the family.

I come to you with 20 years of experience as an educator with all but one year in Farmington schools. I started in 2002 as an Educational Assistant, and have since taught 5th grade, 3rd grade, and Middle School Technology Applications. For the last four years, I have served as Assistant Principal at Ladera Del Norte Elementary.

Being present and building relationships with students, faculty, and the Country Club Community will be my most important role as Principal. I want to ensure that the right decisions are made to create a positive and high-quality learning environment for all students and staff. I will honor the work that has previously been done by Mr. Waller and the leadership of the school and build from that success to continue our reach for excellence. It is my whole hearted belief that every student deserves a quality education, and that only happens when the school and families work together for the best interest of our students. With that in mind, I will be calling on our staff and parents to work together as a unit to best serve our students.

I am honored to be given this opportunity and look forward to soaring with the Eagles of Country Club Elementary. My responsibility is to put our teachers in the best possible position to succeed, as they will in turn put our students in the best possible position to succeed. I look forward to meeting all of you and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns or ideas you would like to share.

Sincerely,

Terrill Henegar
