Farmington Municipal Schools and Animas Elementary School are excited to invite families and community members to join in the festivities of the upcoming Community Garden Party event. This delightful event is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at Animas Elementary School, located at 1612 N. Hutton Avenue in Farmington.
The Community Garden Party promises an array of engaging activities for attendees of all ages. One of the highlights of the event will be a captivating dance performance by the talented students of Animas Elementary School. Additionally, in collaboration with our partners at the Farmington Public Library makerspace Air Stream, children will have the opportunity to craft recycled planters, fostering environmental stewardship and creativity.
To culminate the festivities, the Farmington Chamber of Commerce will conduct an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the inauguration of the community garden, commencing at 2:30 p.m., symbolizing a collaborative effort towards community enhancement and sustainability.
Delicious snacks will be provided for attendees to enjoy throughout the event.
