Bio: I graduated from Farmington High School, then attended NMSU, where I received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I then attended UNM and received an Elementary Teaching Certification. I taught for eight years at the elementary level. I graduated with a Masters Degree in School Counseling in May 2018. I began working at Rocinante High School as the Guidance Counselor in August 2018.

Bio: I am happy to be part of a great team. I have worked with children and teens for over 15 years and feel so humbled to be able to do so here at Rocinante High School. My husband and I have five children of our own and we have learned that each one of them learns differently, takes direction differently, and has very different goals for their future. I look forward to working with the students here at RHS and helping them succeed in any way I can!

Bio: Hello, my name is Mrs. Nakai. I was formerly a special education teacher at Apache Elementary before taking my position as a Native American Youth Advisor here at Rocinante high school. I love my job which allows me to provide social, emotional, cultural identity support and transitional support services presensentations to the Native American students student body. I target three areas which include attendance, academic support and cultural enrichment services. I love to help, share and most of all listen to our students.
