Congratulations to the FMS students who were awarded the 2026 Chief Manuelito Scholarship this past weekend in Flagstaff, Arizona! Of the 183 students statewide who earned the scholarship this year, 23 are outstanding Farmington Municipal Schools students.

Academic Parent-Teacher Teams (APTT)

principal message

Academic Parent-Teacher Teams (APTT) helps schools develop strong partnerships with families and form networks between teacher and parent, parent and parent, and child and parent that support student growth and achievement inside and outside of school. It supplements the efforts of traditional parent conferences by expanding opportunities for families and teachers to collaborate and communicate. The model consists of three parent meetings to share grade-level information, tools, and strategies that families can apply at home to accelerate student learning. These meetings give families opportunities to collaborate about grade-level information and home practices. The teacher also holds an individual session with each student and family to provide individualized support around the grade-level information.

*Parent meeting dates and times are determined by individual schools.
