Farmington Municipal Schools Opens New Preschool Academy

Today, Farmington Municipal Schools (FMS) celebrated the opening of the Farmington Preschool Academy. This new 51,900-square-foot facility expands access to early childhood education and becomes the largest preschool facility in New Mexico.

FMS Celebrates 23 Chief Manuelito Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to the FMS students who were awarded the 2026 Chief Manuelito Scholarship this past weekend in Flagstaff, Arizona! Of the 183 students statewide who earned the scholarship this year, 23 are outstanding Farmington Municipal Schools students.

At Farmington Municipal Schools, we are dedicated to equipping you with the essential tools and skills for life after high school. Our course pathways are designed to provide you with practical skills, engaging curricula, industry certifications, dual credit, and career & technical student organizations that will serve you well in whatever career path you might choose.

But it doesn't stop there! Our work-based learning program goes beyond the classroom, offering you the chance to intern and gain valuable hands-on experience in various professional settings. Not only will you be learning and growing in a real-world environment, but you'll also earn class credit while doing so.
