Farmington Municipal Schools Opens New Preschool Academy

Today, Farmington Municipal Schools (FMS) celebrated the opening of the Farmington Preschool Academy. This new 51,900-square-foot facility expands access to early childhood education and becomes the largest preschool facility in New Mexico.

FMS Celebrates 23 Chief Manuelito Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to the FMS students who were awarded the 2026 Chief Manuelito Scholarship this past weekend in Flagstaff, Arizona! Of the 183 students statewide who earned the scholarship this year, 23 are outstanding Farmington Municipal Schools students.

About Our District

Spanning 808 square miles across San Juan County, our district is home to more than 10,300 students and supported by over 1,800 dedicated staff members, including 711 inspiring teachers.

Together, we nurture learning across 19 schools: 1 Pre-K Academy, 10 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 4 high schools—each a place of growth, connection, and opportunity.
